Researching and developing innovative software technologies for processing photogrammetric data, including close range ground imageries and aero photographs, for surveying and mapping applications; researching and developing software algorithms for 3D reconstruction and positioning based on imagery, inertial, scanning, and GPS/GNSS data; applying engineering knowledge to design, develop and test software solution in a geodetic and photogrammetry context; working on a software development team that is building company software, using various programming languages (C# and C++) for its business applications, which include GPS/GNSS, laser, optical and inertial technologies, wireless communications, and applications specific field and office software; preparing project reports, patent applications, and presenting technologies at professional conferences; and performing other research duties and software engineering as assigned.
We require a Ph.D. Degree in geodetic science or other relevant field such as geomatics engineering or photogrammetry plus 1 year of experience. In lieu of a Ph.D. degree, we would accept a Master's degree in a field listed above plus three years of experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
